Does anyone else lie in bed at 2:30am filled with the crippling fear that they’re never going to accomplish anything in life and fail miserably or is that just me
Assumptions are made for all the wrong reasons until the damage is too severe to mend.

In the back of the class she sits and the teacher calls on her. In return she stares back with lips placid.

Still, there are cuts and burns distorted across her bare arms and fingers not covered by her sleeves. People start to take notice.

She keeps to herself and sits alone at lunch. It would seem she is at ease. By the corners of their eyes, kids start to stare. Murmurs start to arise. She acts as if she doesn’t notice.
“No one likes her,” said society.
She takes her pen and puts it to paper. Her fingers tremble across the page. The note reads: “I don’t know why everyone thinks it’s okay to tear me down emotionally but if it was physical that’s wrong. That’s fine, I’ll just do it myself. At least I have the nerve to complete your destruction.”
